Substitution Code
Letters to Numbers
This is a very simple code, which is why EJ12 could crack it so quickly.
Each number stands for a letter.
A = 1
B = 2
C = 3
It the number is 10, the agent counts ten letters into the alphabet and gets J
SHINE Agents can use their code app to look up the number-letter match:
19 8 9 14 5 = SHINE
The code can be made more complicated by making A = 2, B = 4, C = 6 and so on or using any other multiple. An Agent needs to know her times tables!
