We love CF12’s EJ fan fiction WORST SLEEPOVER. Enjoy the first chapter!

Emma walked into the school gates as usual, she checked her watch, 8:55. Good. She was here at her usual time. Everything was just like it always was. “Emma!” Isi jumped right out of nowhere in front of Emma ( As usual! )

“Emma!” she screamed.

“Is, what’s wrong?”

“Nothing?” Isi said, looking confused.

“Oh, sorry.” Emma said, realising that it was definitely ordinary that her friend screamed like that, after all, it was Isi.

“Well, what’s up, Is?”

“What’s UP? What’s up is that we’re having the biggest, bestest, BFF sleepover EVER!!”

“Tonight?”

“Yes, TONIGHT! Our mums organised it on Monday, remember? Hannah’s going to be there too!”

Yes, Emma clearly remembered that. Isi jumping up and down saying “Please, please, pleeeaaase?”

But, Emma was a teensy bit worried. The sleepover wasn’t at her house for the first time. What would Emma’s family do without her? How would her Dad find his glasses on top of his head? How would her Mum remember which is the salt, and which is the sugar? And, worst of all, how would Emma’s Mum get Bob into trouble without Emma dobbing on him?

ding ding ding

“Come on, Em.” Isi said, skipping away to class.

Hannah suddenly came rushing through the gates, panting.

“Em… has… the… bell… gone?” She said. her cheeks bright red.

“Hannah, what happened? Emma asked

“I’ll tell you later.” Hannah said.

Emma was worried. What was this ordinary day turning in to? Why did everything suddenly have to go wrong? And what was with Hannah and the puffing? Why was she late?

Emma felt a little dizzy.

In class, Ms Tenga was teaching them maths. Usually, maths was Emma’s favourite subject…

Emma put her hand to her ear, a mission alert from  SHINE!
